What we do

We offer free, evidence-based training and local volunteer experiences that build confidence, compassion and connection. Through digital-first education, social media storytelling and inclusive events, we’re creating a generation of ‘Good Mates’ who know how to show up, speak up, and stay well, together.

Training

Our training is Australia’s first digital peer-to-peer mental health first aid training certificate and it takes only around 60 minutes to complete. It’s free and it's designed by a team of mental health professionals to resonate with younger audiences.

Cause Club

We’re building a national club for everyday legends doing good things, together, one local event at a time. You don't need to do everything. But you can do something.

Our work

  • Cause Club

    Videos

Cause Club is the first-of-its-kind community where young people meet to actually make a difference, no pressure, all impact. Not a run club. Not a book club. Not another night at the pub. At our first event, 50 people showed up and made 250+ toys for rescue animals, donated 50kg of food, and left feeling connected, hopeful, and full of purpose.

  • Good Mate Training

    Videos

This was our first ever full in-person Good Mate Training (!!!) where we certified some of @aimco.org.au’s Sydney marketers and creators as real-life peer supporters.

  • Launch of 'Connection is Prevention'

    Videos

‘Connection is Prevention’ is a national report showing that disconnection, loneliness, and cost of living are *crushing* young Australians’ futures. With @foundation4socialhealth, (and a bunch of epic mental health leaders) we’re calling on the next government to fund connection - by building a Social Health Network across cafes, mental health pubs, gyms, sporting clubs and pharmacies.
