This page helps people discover and connect with organisations across the ecosystem. Each organisation curates its own profile, helping others understand who they are, what they do, where they work, and the expertise and services they bring to the sector. As a community-led resource, it will grow and evolve through your input. We facilitate updates and improvements, helping keep information current, useful and accessible for the broader ecosystem. On 23 June 2026, we launched a map view (beta). If something doesn't work as expected, please let the team know at team@understorey.org.au.

Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship (ACRE) exists to drive the renewal of Australia's rural communities so that future generations may thrive. We develop entrepreneurial mindsets, skills and behaviours in young people, and equip rural communities with the knowledge, know-how and networks to achieve a community-led future that is agile, resilient, inclusive and enterprising.
The Australian Libraries of Things Network formed in 2022. A Library of Things enables members to borrow all sorts of useful items like gardening tools, catering and party gear, camping equipment, tools, board games and more! To meet Australia's 2030 climate targets, we need to reduce our consumption and transition to a truly circular economy as fast as possible. By encouraging reuse and borrowing instead of buying, LoTs all over Australia are already making that change possible.
